External Interfaces

The pancredit application supports a number of external interface types.

The list below highlights the current external interface types held on the application together with a brief description of each:

• Quick Address
  The Quick Address interface allows the rapid finding of addresses in the UK. Starting with an entered post code it provides the list of valid addresses allowing the user to make a selection rather than typing the whole address.

• Direct Debits
  Direct debit files can be produced in the standard UK BACS format. This is suitable for submitting to BACS via a third party product (such as Albany Albacs).
  
  BACS files can also be produced in a format suitable for submitting to BACS using the checkpoint product.
  
  AUDDIS transactions (to register and cancel direct debit instructions) can also be transmitted in the BACS file.
  
  ADDACS pancredit is able to process ADDACS files. These files contain details of direct debit instructions (DDIs) that have been cancelled, amended or rejected by the payer's bank. These changes are applied to the DDI details held on pancredit.

• Security Registration
  The HPI interface allows registration of goods that are subject to finance to prevent them being used as security for other agreements. It also supports de-registration.

• Credit Reference
  The credit reference interface allows communications with an external agency that provides information useful in assessing the credit worthiness of applicants. pancredit interfaces to services provided by both Equifax and Experian.

• Payment Profile
  The payment profile interfaces allow the sending of information to the credit reference agencies on the repayment behaviour of customers.

• General Ledger (G/L)
  Oracle Financials, SAP, Masterpiece, AccPac & Tetra-CS3 are currently supported. We also have a generic comma separated interface file which is suitable for linking to general ledgers that can accept files in any format and map the fields in the file to their input fields (e.g. CODA using CODA-Link).
  The GL interface allows the export of information on accounts to be exported to an external general ledger.

• Bank Interfaces
  Files containing advance notice of bank giro credits (e.g.Barclays DirectData ABC format) and unpaid DD’s can be loaded into pancredit.

• Bank Statements
  Natwest Bankline, Barclays DirectData, Royal Bank of Scotland (LinkLine) and Lloyds (Lloydslink) formats are all currently supported. Note - these banks can supply bank statements in a number of different formats and a variety of detail, pancredit supports one specific format for each particular bank.
  
  The bank statement interface allows the bank statements to be imported and reconciled with the cash book in pancredit. Entries such as bank giro credits, standing orders and unpaid DD’s can be applied directly to the customers agreement where the details on the bank statement can be matched to the agreement details satisfactorily.

• Bank Sort Codes and Branch Details
  The bank sort codes and branch details held on pancredit can be updated on a regular basis using data supplied by Reed Business Information Ltd (subject to a licencing agreement with Reed Business Information). Reed supply updated bank sort code data on a regular basis. This data can be imported into pancredit to add new branches or update branches previously loaded.

• Bank Wizard
  Bank Wizard is a software solution provided by Eiger Systems Limited designed to validate bank account details.
  
  Bank Wizard provides the ability to validate bank account details at the point of data entry and search for bank branches, both in native pancredit and via the Gateway. The process will validate that a bank account number is valid for the Bank Branch being used and, if that account will accept direct debits.

• Anti Fraud Software
  This is supported using an interface to Hunter.

• Price Books
  Glass’s Guide car valuation data can be loaded onto the pancredit system.
